Avantika - Faizabad

During our three-day visit to Faizabad, the hotel staff recommended this restaurant to us. They served generous portions (we ordered one portion and it was enough for two people). We visited twice and enjoyed our meals both times. We ordered chicken chowmein, which cost 20 rupees (approximately 2.50€). The restaurant was always full when we visited, a good sign. The service was quick and efficient, despite the crowds. The restaurant was air-conditioned, which was a relief in the hot city. Outside, there were two fans in metal boxes at the entrance. These fans cooled the air by blowing it over a water tank, ensuring a comfortable temperature inside. The restaurant was well-maintained, with clean and well-ventilated areas.

On both occasions, we ordered chicken chow mein for 20 rupees, about €2.50. The restaurant was always full when we visited, which is always a good sign. The service was very fast, accustomed to crowds. The restaurant is AIR-CONDITIONED, which is essential in this hot city. Outside at the entrance of the restaurant, there are 2 fans inside metal boxes on the left side of the door. These boxes have a water tank at their base. The fan blows air over the water, creating cool air that enters the restaurant through very fine grates on the interior side of the metal boxes, so only clean air can come in without bugs or dirt.
