A great place to lunch on a road trip, popular among the locals. I had an excellent traditional fish with bananas on a busy Sunday dinner. the colorful fussball cloths that fest the place, give character.
Very nice and friendly staff, tasty eating and warm local atmosphere : . strongly recommended for all!
This places is next to the road but it is a hidden gem, the service is friendly and nice and you feel welcome. when visiting there with friends small group some tables was quickly put together and all was good, the food is excellent and...to dream for, just small place the food came when done but thats ok.
We had been to Caves and then stopped here on our return to the cruise ship. After reading the reviews I was pleased that we had not stopped here for a meal, we only had drinks and nuts. The tour guide conversed with the serving...staff and actually served us our drinks and then brought the nuts around too. We took up much of the door stairs bar and outer seating area, so it was a good job there were only three locals in the bar. The local drink was fine nothing to write home about and the nuts were just plain monkey nuts so not that tasty. Would not seek out this place to return to as there seemed to be a lack of atmosphere and may be it was good that we had the guide to serve us as the staff did not look happy, but then again they were being faced by 50 plus none Portuguese speakers.
