We have been buying takeaway from the Very Good Chinese takeaway outlet for many years. Their szechuan beef is consistently delicious and their vegetable dishes are colourful and flavoursome. We also enjoy their omelettes and chicken chow mein. We have never found the food to be dripping in oil and as far as food quality goes, it is representative of most Chinese takeways. It is not spectacular gourmet food and this is evident as soon as you step into their rather humble premises and peek into a busy and small kitchen. But we keep going back because it is tasty, handy on a weeknight when we don't want to cook and only a few kilometres away.

The very good thing about it is that I don't have to do it again!Everything was dripping in oil, no meat in the battered dishes, just loads of batter.Never again, not even for free!The lady who served us was very friendly and cheerful but the food was truly NOT very good!

Like almost everything else in the Western Suburbs this restaurant is overpriced.
