We have been there several times and can recommend both the food and the cocktails. A must is the Greek evening, where there is a lot of dancing and Greek music played. Great ambience, good mood. Lido Star is a fabulous place to eat and enjoy a drink or two, right on the beach and very pleasing to the eye. We ate there most nights, as the food and service are fantastic! We tried most of the meals on the menu and all were amazing, they all came out hot and well presented. Prices are really good and the large beers for only €2 were great, plus their Cocktails are wonderful too. The owner and his staff were so friendly and couldn't have made us feel anymore welcome. Their Greek nights on Friday evenings were brilliant and very popular too. I strongly recommend to anyone who wants a great dining experience to visit Lido Star!! Went here for the first time because of the offer “€2 for a 0.5l beer”. Saw that there was a Greek evening here on Fridays with live music and a salad buffet. Then came back on Friday evening. Unfortunately, we discovered that the salad buffet is only available in conjunction with a menu order of a main course including a drink. The menu included souvlaki and mousaka for €25 and fish for €30. However, as my partner is a vegetarian and we actually wanted to eat something different, we explained this. The waiter understood this and offered my friend to order a few vegetarian dishes from the menu. However, we didn't want a menu and were able to simply order from the menu without any problems. The food (gyro platter, feta cheese with sesame and honey and tzatziki), the following Friday we had mousaka and feta cheese again, the food was super delicious. We also ordered 4 different cocktails, which were also delicious, but a bit expensive. The Greek evening was really great, good atmosphere, great music. The guests were encouraged to dance, the boss also danced, a waiter sang a song, great atmosphere! Absolute recommendation!!! We visited the location almost every day during our vacation. We were always recognized, greeted very nicely and sometimes we didn't even have to order because they remembered what we usually ordered. I can't understand why the application here isn't better. We felt very comfortable, special and valued here. The staff is just so welcoming. Plus right on the sea with a great view. I recommend everyone to come here at least once, especially for the Greek evening, which was an absolute highlight of our trip (twice) (especially with this ambience and the nice staff).
