The prices are reasonable, although they have gone up recently. There is a daily special and a good effort to keep the menu varied and accommodate special requests, ensuring everyone leaves satisfied. Wednesday night, with its popular special of pierogies and chicken wings, accompanied by a wide selection of dipping sauces, is a favorite among diners. Atmosphere: One of the pub's strong points is its welcoming environment. Regardless of who was working that day, we were always greeted with warmth and hospitality. The pub is housed in a historic building, which exudes charm, especially during the Christmas season. A cozy gas fireplace in the center adds to the ambiance, making it a comfortable spot even on windy nights. Despite the constant opening and closing of doors, the building is surprisingly well-insulated. A quiet lounge area on the opposite side of the fireplace is a hidden gem. Service: Outstanding. The staff, including waitresses who often also serve as bartenders, is attentive and friendly. The service is consistently prompt and efficient, with all the staff being genuinely good people.
Have been going here for 20 years used to be a great place. The food has gone to the dogs and prices are through the roof. Cost us $80.00 for 2 burgers and two drinks. And the worst small house salad ever made. Won't be back. Dont waste your money.
Waited 45 minutes to get barely cooked pizza.. place is a joke.. don't bother a d pmease continue on to Vernon.. Nice waitress..
We enjoy stopping at this pub when we're out for a day trip on the motorcycle. Friendly service and huge portions. Sandwich and fries were both very good. Cold beer and we were on the road again.
Well. I lucked out by having wings that were great. But about 8 for about $16. The special steak dinner bland lesser than mediocre steak beat up tired vegetables mash something water bland potatoes garlic toast not worth mentioning a thick darkened gravy mush that was certainly not any authentic …. The next meal I tasted was a Salisbury steak. Same awful sides with meat that seemed like the leftover hamburger patties they didn’t sell at about $13.00 for their basic burger. With the same not gravy slop ……. Wings …fabulous honestly. Nicest server … toilet paper out in the stalls type of place. A Greek salad I think costs close to $20!!!! It’s a rip off …. Go to the Grocer across the street and grab a snack til you hit a place that has a Wendy’s. nice server.
