I ordered the special for the night which was Portuguese chicken parm if this is on the menu I highly recommend getting it. I wanted to only eat half of it, but i ended up devouring it! It was amazing. My fiancee got the fajitas and he also enjoyed it. Service was top notch. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Prices were definitely reasonable. I truly enjoyed my experience here.
So there were a few key points that this place won me over on. The beer selection, cleanliness, service, and the food. This isn 't a five star restaurant, but for the prices and quality delivered, I was most impressed. If I lived in the Fall River area, this would be my watering hole. This is a gem in downtown district. Our server was this cute and somewhat timid lady, when I asked about the beer cocktail selections she didn 't know, she didn 't drink beer. Okay, okay, fair enough. People ask me at work what channel is the game on? and I 'm like uh, I don 't know. and they 're like Why not?!?! and I 'm standing there like I 'm poking people with needles so I can give them medicine and IV fluids, I 'm not watching TV while at work... She was very courteous and checked in on us, she was good. I tried a orange moon beer cocktail, a light beer mixed with Grand Marnier and a 'splash of orange. ' It was, different. I didn 't hate it, but didn 't particularly care for it. I did find a new brew, Evil Genius chocolate peanut butter porter. Not something I would try to party on, but it was quite delicious. The mozzarella sticks were good, we ordered mac n ' cheese plates, hers was standard and I got the buffalo chicken. The buffalo chicken didn 't have a whole lot of heat, but the chicken was tender and mixed in very well with the cheese and macaroni. The portions were generous and flavors well blended.
We've visited the TapHouse a few more times recently and I have to bump it up a star. Service has been good and the waitress was nice enough to go along my drunken ramblings the last time I was there. If you are going to order a few Manhattans, eat more than a salad. That's my drunk tip of the day. Nice cocktail list, decent draft list and a full bar. They also have a menu with a lot of variety. We've had the quesadilla, salads, chicken tenders, fajitas, pizza seafood, sandwiches, etc all with no complaints. One drawback is the parking. It can be tough depending on when you go. There's not a lot of decent options right in this area and I would recommend it.
This is a pretty nice place. Very pubby, but the food was good, and I have a good selection of craft beers. Some of them are on draft some are in the bottle. I found the staff to be very friendly and hard-working. I got there before the dinner hour but they accommodated me and I enjoyed my time at this establishment. There's lots of on street parking, and it is in downtown Fall River.
4.444 Stars Great Brew/Gastro Pub in downtown Fall River. The room is spacious they have tables with better than average spacing and large booths. The back wall has bench seating with tables. The bar is well situated perhaps a tad short but a seat there is comfortable. The lighting is slightly darker but it has that lounge feel. There are plenty of TV 's if you want to watch the game . The food is next level comfort food. We started with a trio of chicken wings, Buffalo, Mozambique and Asian all 3 were tasty but I like the Mozambique the best. They have great burgers I had the Roasted Goat burger(Roasted Red Pepper, Goat Cheese, and Chipotle Mayo) with onion straws. The Reuben sandwich was good but could have a tad more pastrami. The prices are wallet friendly and the service was attentive and upbeat, parking: street. next time: Buffalo Mac n ' Cheese, the Guilty Burger. the hand stretched grilled pizza looked yummy, a variant of bar pizza ? Could use more local brews on tap. Beer cocktails!
