Contribuisci feedbackHad an amazing breakfast. Got the special which was Ham Steak, eggs, hash browns, and toast. One breakfast split between 2 people was the right amount for us. The bucket of hot sauce was fun to use figuring out pairing combinations.
Came here for a special occasion, get some food and play some golf. The food was ok. I requested the jalapeño bacon burger and it was ok. Not good, not bad, just ok. Apparently there were no jalapeños available some they put a whole green pepper flattened out. is like asking for toilet paper and getting sand paper as a substitute The staff was friendly and attentive and overall we had a good time while we enjoyed our meal. I have never played golf and this was my first (and probably last) time in a golf course so I can't provide insightful opinion on the golf or its details but the people I was with some are regulars and the few who were not, enjoyed their time on the course. I enjoyed driving the golf cart around so that was fun.
Despite the delicious pancakes, the quality of the eggs was subpar, and we had to wait an excessive amount of time for our check at the end of the meal. The server also forgot to bring out a drink that was ordered and failed to inform us that payment had to be made inside. While our server was friendly, these mishaps left us feeling dissatisfied with the overall dining experience. We would not return to this restaurant and would advise others against visiting as well.
The cafe has a relaxing environment, great customer service, and food prepared by 2 of the best chefs around ... Hill and Cori Nowalk Egger. I suggest their Watermelon Salad ... a unique blend of tart and tangy flavors. I'm looking forward to my next visit!
Omelet and hashbrowns were on point. Will be going back.
