Kim Phung Bakery - Falls Church

I absolutely adore this place! It's my go-to spot every single day of the year. I come here daily for their Vietnamese iced coffee, which is consistently excellent. I also enjoy their bakery items. My sons are big fans of the baked goods too! While the staff may have some limitations in their English, they definitely make an effort.

The handmade cakes here are tucked away in the back, but they are absolutely amazing and made to order. Indulge in durian to your heart's content! The pastries are the best in the area, and they offer more pandan options than I've seen anywhere else. They also have smoothies and a hot bar featuring Vietnamese sausage, fried bananas, and a full menu of Banh Mi. Although it wasn't on the menu, they graciously made my wife an avocado smoothie upon request—two whole avocados blended with a bit of ice and sweet cream. It was fantastic!

A friend recommended this bakery to me a few years ago, and it's now the only Vietnamese bakery I frequent. They offer a wide variety of pastries, sweets, sandwiches, and iced drinks, with my personal favorite being the pâté. I highly encourage you to explore and try a few items, even if you're unsure of what they are—you'll probably end up loving them! Just a heads up: go early, as the best items tend to sell out quickly, and they should consider adding Apple Pay and Google Pay options.

Totally delightful freshly made cakes, pastries, jellies, sandwiches, teas, and so much more! They sell both fresh desserts and specially made but pre-packaged goodies like buns. Their báhn cam is homemade and so, so good!
