Live Crawfish Seafood - Falls Church

I’m a New Orleans native my experience here was what is expected and authentic. The food was fresh and prepared to my taste and spice. It’s a New Orleans original taste and expectations. If your looking for trash in a bag u can get that without the bag and nasty sprinkles on top of the seafood, that’s not good and what you need I recommend coming here they’ll make it how you wan it and the seafood is fresh!

Great place for real Cajun boiled seafood flavors. Crabs, crawfish, and shrimp were the best boiled seafood I have found in VA. The fried catfish was perfect. The shrimp Po Boy was great, but as always I wanted more.Food: 5/5

I have mixed feelings about this place. I thought this was a dine-in restaurant, but it seems more like a to-go restaurant with tables considering the service. You’re not really waited on. The seafood and veggies you order for the boil all come served in a larger pan with about 2 inches of what I think is supposed to be garlic butter, but is actually lightly buttered watered, not a lot of flavor. I figured everything would come flavored but the corn on the cob and potatoes were flavorless. Maybe you’re have to request that specifically but I thought that would be a given. Besides that, the prices were decent, the place was clean, and our food was served in a timely manner.

I was disappointed with my crab order! It was supposed to be a mix of male and female. I only received all female that was touch and very hard to get the meat out. I was told they would be meaty, that was not true. Very mushy. Not worth the money I paid for them. I refuse to rder crabs from that place ever!Kid-friendliness: The lady is very kind but crab were horrible. I hope I don't get sick!

I placed a pickup order over the phone and was impressed with how quickly they answered and took my order. They informed me it would be ready in 20 minutes, but when I arrived, I was told I needed to wait another 10 minutes. I couldn't shake the feeling that they hadn't started making my order until I showed up. After a total of 45 minutes since I first called, I was still in the store waiting for my food. However, once it finally arrived, it was quite good.
