We asked our server to recommend some traditional Laotian dishes, and she suggested the Naem Khao with sour pork. This dish consisted of sticky rice, peanuts, vegetables, and pork wrapped in Romaine lettuce leaves - it was really good. She also recommended the Awk stew with beef, which was a hearty, slightly spicy stew that we enjoyed with even more sticky rice. We will definitely be returning to try more dishes in the future.
The Laotian cuisine at this restaurant is truly amazing! Each dish is made fresh from scratch and they are all simply perfect.
I used to come here for the lunch buffet when they still offered it. It's highly recommended to make a reservation for dinner, as the food is that good. This is a fantastic spot to enjoy a hot bowl of soup. The pork dishes are especially delicious.
This is a great quiet place for dinner. There is no outdoor seating. I liked that it wasn't overfilled with tables; you can hear your table mate without hearing people at other tables. I got the papaya salad with egg and pickled mussel. It wasn't too spicy, which made it perfect.
Probably my favorite restaurant for Asian food. I've gotten different grilled and soup dishes and they're always wonderful. I highly recommend getting any of their dishes that have catfish- they make it so tasty! Definitely has home cooking energy and nice staff.
