State Theatre - Falls Church

What a great fun show!!The Brit Pack were amazing. They played all the music I grew up listening to. Queen, Beatles, and more..so awesome!

It's a nice venue, but the AC doesn't work. It was very hot with few people actually there. Drinks are overpriced. eight dollars for a small plastic cup. Security flashed his heavy flashlight at me and followed me outside . When I wanted to take my water outside. He told me to throw it out. If I knew, I would have. Don't appreciate being followed. He could have just told me from the start.

Would be an amazing venue with air conditioning. The band was amazing and the crowd was great but even the band complained 5 times about how hot it was. 2 stars because they had cold water but we only survived 2 hours before leaving early

Came to the state theater for the Nirvani show! They were excellent! The venue is pretty good. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the heat and slow service. The venue doesn't have AC but they tried to keep everyone cool with multiple fans, which was like throwing a bucket of water at a burning building. The drink and food service was unusually slow. I recommend eating somewhere else first and then watching a show here.

Went two nights in a row to see Tribute Bands; Dave Matthews on Saturday night and Billy Joel on Sunday night. Not sure why the difference but the acoustics were much better Sunday night and we even hung out in the pit all during the performance. Saturday night acoustics were pretty loud and way too much bass and it was impossible to be in the pit without going deaf. In any case, highly recommend bringing ear protection of some sort because the venue is small and the music is loud. Servers work hard to take care of everyone and the bar service is always fast and the bartenders very pleasant and personable. Beer and food item prices are fairly reasonable too. It 's going to become one of our new favorite places to listen to live music and be able to interact with the performers. We 'll definitely be back.
