Saw food reviews on social media and I just had to try it for myself; I can’t believe I’ve driven by this amazing joint hundreds of times without batting an eye. The food is delicious and made quick, the service is great, and the prices are very reasonable! I tried the California burrito, and I swear they’re better than the San Diego California burritos. This place is a staple in great DMV food.

Outstanding food; prepare to wait if it’s lunch time. I got the tacos de birria, 3 tacos filled with shredded beef and cheese fried crisp. Comes with a bowl of beef consomé for dipping. Oh lord! The missus got 3 tacos: de cabeza, de pollo tinga, de Cancun (shrimp). All she raved about. I got a side of arroz con frijoles. We are stuffed. Happy. And will call in our order in advance next time.

AMAZING food! We love mexican food and are always on the lookout for a good birria. Their beef birria was spectacular! I wanted to bring the “extra” birria soup home but we ended up using it on everything, nothing was left over at the end.The taco and sope de asada were ok, the beef needed a touch of salt/cut too large. The taco de carnitas was out of this world!Can’t wait to come back!

Being from Texas I was used to having awesome taquerias literally on every corner. Out here in Northern Virginia, not so much. Well, at least before I found Taqueria Cancun. They have all of my favorites like Cabeza, Carnitas and of course Birria. They also have amazing Pozole AND Menudo. All of this plus the owners and staff are the nicest people on earth. Love these guys and love the tacos here. Don't walk, run to Taqueria Cancun and get you some tacos now!
