The Perfect Pita - Falls Church

The food at this Perfect Pita location has significantly improved over the four and a half years I've been visiting. The falafel sandwich has become a substantial and tasty lunch option for me in the past couple of years. One of the flavorful hummus varieties paired with pita offers a good, lighter choice, and the pita pizzas served with hummus also look quite appealing.

As a first-time visitor, I found myself unsure about what to order. If the restaurant had advertised a Combo Meal, it would have made my decision much simpler. The food, drink, and chips were listed separately on the menu, but were combined as a single combo on the bill. I also noticed that I received more food here than at the Panera next door.

Whenever I visit the location near Bailey's Crossroads, I love tearing off pieces of their warm pita bread, which is unique to this local chain, and dipping it into the hummus. Their gyros are truly exceptional. The pita is baked to create a pocket that perfectly holds the traditional beef and lamb or grilled chicken, along with fresh lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and their fantastic tzatziki sauce. This pocket design keeps the "sandwich" together much better than the typical folded flatbread you find elsewhere. And don’t skip dessert—there are many options, including homemade cookies, slices of cake, and baklava, but my absolute favorite is the rice pudding. It has a wonderful custard texture with just the right amount of rice; it’s hands down the best rice pudding I've ever had. My only complaint is that it only comes in an 8-ounce serving when I would love a quart or half-gallon option! Perfect Pita is a fantastic spot for a delicious, healthy, and quick meal for breakfast or lunch, offering both dine-in and takeout. The staff is always friendly and serves with a smile. Lunchtime can get quite hectic at the Skyline Office Complex location, but calling ahead allows you to skip the long line that can often snake out the door! As the name suggests, Perfect Pita truly lives up to its reputation.

Great food. Big portions. And the fact that they open early in the morning is just amazing. They will give you 4% discount if you pay cash.

Tasty! Very friendly service. -1 star for lack of parking and iceberg lettuce in the falafel veggie pita instead of spinach (I'd ask them to switch it out next time).
