Grayson Landing - Falls of Rough

So we flew in as there is an airstrip .3 miles from the restaurant. Cool place to eat for pilots and some nice hiking to do afterwards.

We went for the Saturday buffet. They were supposed to have brisket and ribs. We got there 2 hours before they closed and they were out of both. The mashed potatoes were like a rock, desserts were horrible. Small children were running around the buffet. Our server was wonderful though. We will not return.

I was so pleasantly shocked to see they had vegetarian options on the menu! Amazing staff, Taylor Becky both accommodated my dietary restrictions and were extremely personable. I’d recommend to anyone!Vegetarian options: They had a vegetarian burger on the menu and also adjusted the buffet price for me since I wasn’t eating any of the meat.

My husband called in advanced to see what they were placing on the buffet tonight. It was Father's Day weekend! We arrived and was looking forward to trying the stuff crab, when we went up to get some food, they already ran out of the stuff crab, and it wasn't even 7:30 pm and the worker placing food said they had no more. So, we didn't even get to try that. The Dessert selection wasn't nothing to write home about people went ham on it. They didn't place anything fresh out for the Desserts either, we asked the waitress, and she said what was out was all they had, they had more customers coming in too. I was disappointed in that. It is usually good. The Ribs are good, but they ran out of them too and placed clam strips out!

Food was excellent, great selection of desserts....ample selection on the steam table as well !
