The Local - Fallston

I have enjoyed The Local twice now in a week. Some friends invited me to brunch last weekend and I knew I had to treat my partner to it this weekend! I enjoyed the Eggs Benedict with crab cake my first visit. For dinner this weekend we enjoyed the Seafood risotto, Lamb shank, seasonal vegetable for the day (grilled asparagus) and the grilled oysters. Quality of the food was amazing. Lamb was tender and full of flavor. Vegetables cooked perfect. Seafood risotto also made perfect firm but still soft, smooth and creamy. You could see every bit of lump seafood in your meal. Service was amazing both times. We even got complimentary cornbread to share while we waited for our meal made fresh. Oh! And I'd recommend reservations sitting on the patio. I enjoyed both meals on the patio and it is set up beautifully ?

Overall great place and great food. Band called Jay Swanson was playing... very good vibe! Tried to see when he would be back but no response. When is Jay Swanson coming back to either location??
