Nik Boyle - Falmouth

A few weeks ago eaten here. we were a big group and certainly did not make the living for them (already! but they were absolutely fantastic! we had a long table next to the pass and nik took time from his evening to chat with us. all FOH staff were friendly, patient and attentive. eating was delicious, fresh and seasonal.

I highly recommend visiting Nik's Restaurant if you're in Falmouth or anywhere in Cornwall. My partner and I went there for lunch while visiting my best friend, her husband, and their new baby. Nik and his sous chef were incredibly attentive and ensured that nothing was too much trouble. Since my partner is unable to have milk, they customized part of the menu for him. We enjoyed a delicious sourdough bread served with the most amazing chicken butter, which my friend absolutely loved. Later in the evening, Nik even made sure we were well taken care of when we stopped by to pick up some food. A happy friend indeed! I can't wait for our next visit!

The food and wine were excellent and beautifully presented, all served by friendly and attentive staff. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

As a chef with 25 years of experience, I often find myself overly critical when dining out. However, my experience here was a delightful surprise. From the moment I arrived until I said goodbye, the service was warm, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. The food was beautifully executed and presented; everything was perfectly seasoned, fresh, and visually appealing. Each dish was well-balanced and cooked with care—it's evident that attention was paid to every detail (for instance, a rare steak was allowed to reach room temperature before cooking). This is a place I would happily return to in Falmouth. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend you go!
