After we in penryn have tried the best in cornwall,' which had a waiting queue of 20, to avoid the long waiting queue for a change to be the only customer. old hill' gave the popularity where we just came. the ordering system and the coding measures in the old hill are excellent and the spatial features are clean. the cod was skinless, very nicely boiled and of sufficient medium size and better than the harbour lights for example, but the portions of chips were subduing, edible, but insipid, mushy and unreasonably small in portion size. sad old hill chippy' is simply not in nemos liga and while the fish is very good at both places and the price quite averaged, nemos serves a real' great quality part of excellent boiled fish chips' with a side for less than £8. this difference would stop us from returning to old hill' unless we were hungry by.
We searched everywhere for a fish and chip lunch, as we are in the car, we call some to check the diligent recipe for a heavy egg allergy and say that we are very impressed by old hill handling. that were. we arrived at chippy and have to say what a lovely device of the dame running on the door, which is a fantastic naval form operation around the Kovid setups. eating is all cooked to order, so ready for a little wait, or they can pre-order their order. the fish was amazingly fresh and tasty the teig was as it crispy and easy the chips were cooked to perfection and crispy edges and fluffy in the inner of the muddy heaps were also amazing. we drove up to pendennis to eat them, so I can give them the veiw, but the meal certainly complimented it would highly recommend to speak out of the precious stone of an orte and if rick stien ever read: that was where I was saying 5 stars good that is it
After I was in another extremely disappointing chip shop in falmouth, I decided to try here. After I finally made it on the gargantuan hill, I laid my pretty big order, which only after I told them, so it was about as...fresh as possible. the parts are not massive, but they are not small. a large part of the chips is more than enough for a person, but would only feed two. the prices are quite reasonable and if I lived here, I wouldn't hesitate to call here again.
