Had a wonderful experience celebrating a birthday! The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. Everyone was very satisfied.

Today, I experienced my first visit as a local. The General Tso Chicken was undoubtedly the best I've ever had in NYC. The quality of the meat and the seasoning of the sauce were superb, and the portion size was excellent. However, the vegetable fried rice, spring rolls, and vegetable lo mein were not as impressive—they were dry and lacking in flavor. Overall, I had higher expectations for this place beyond what you'd typically find at a standard Chinese/Asian restaurant. The ambiance is really nice, and the reviews are generally positive. Unfortunately, I found the other dishes to be below par compared to the chicken.

We celebrated a few family birthdays and had a wonderful time. The service was excellent, and the food was plentiful and delicious. Only two people in our group were not completely satisfied with their dishes, but I ordered the same as they did and had no complaints. I enjoyed the hibachi chicken and shrimp with noodles, and I was having so much fun with my family that I didn't manage to eat all my food. I ended up taking leftovers home, and they smelled just as good as when they were freshly cooked!

The staff did not speak well English and misunderstood everything I wanted. My waitress/water forgot what's on the menu and always said they didn't do and wait 20 minutes for my rice. Then I gave more lies about what they have or do....Example I saw ice cream, but when they ask, they give it to who they chose. Good food, very bad service... I went back.... it was much better... only problem was the shrimp of fried rice not tasted as good as last time, there was missing something and several customers agree that it tasted differently. The ice cream was delicious.

Loved it such an old school gem for Chinese food the green veggie dish was superb also loved the lo menu and general Tso chicken ? great cocktail and sake list as well? owner was walking around saying hello ? great stop over coming from JFK
