The Rising Sun - Fareham

We had lunch here today 01/11/2023 the food was great and served with lovely presentation. the service was out of this world by Charlotte. Nothing was to much trouble and the young man that was behind the bar poured a great pint too. They both did really well today as it was a busy lunch time and they was the only staff on but they did amazing job with service drinks and making sure every table was happy. we will be back again soon.

Nice pub shame you have to pay to park now, food was good service nice, ales ok upstairs unavailable/closed when we visited at lunchtime

Great staff, good location, good atmosphere however, real ale beer prices have escalated over 20% in 5 months why!

We were a family of four who wanted to try out the lovely new menu. We were not disappointed at all. The new recipe lasagne I had was fabulous but everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their choices too. I would particularly like to mention how wonderful Charlotte was. She’s one special person, so attentive and always smiling. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Rising Sun, we’ll be sure to come back again very soon. Kazza

Just ate here with my husband but had fillet steak which is by far the best stark we have both eaten in a long time followed by two lovely desserts Nice location over looking the water with friendly staff
