Tacos Trompo - Fargo

The dining experience was fantastic. The employees were extremely friendly. We were served promptly after our child's dental appointment, and there were also child-friendly items available.

The meal was decent, but the prices are way too high for something so simple. I paid $12 for a queso torta (a cold cheese sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, and beans) and a small cup of bland black beans. It was nothing extraordinary and definitely not worth the price. I was not impressed and probably won't be returning. The owner provided incorrect information by saying the queso torta is $7.79 when I was actually charged $12 for it.

The food at this restaurant is very authentic. The menu is on the smaller side, but they offer all the standard dishes like squares, burritos, enchiladas, and tacos with various meats. The pinto beans are recommended over the black beans. This restaurant tends to be less crowded in the area, as it mainly attracts groups of construction workers who gather together.

I would not recommend this place at all! We ordered takeout on Saturday and all of us got really sick after eating it. We assume it was the guacamole because that is the only thing we all had that was the same. The rest of the food was OK. For the cost of our food and the taste, I would much rather order takeout from one of the other amazing Mexican restaurants in town. I definitely do not recommend this place at all!!!

Went here Friday night and had their steak burrito and it was amazing. Staff was super friendly. It appears to be run by a family. I will definitely be back next time I am in Fargo!!
