I know it's a fast food restaurant, but they don't get the feeling of a fast food restaurant. the people are super friendly eating is always brilliant and it feels just a step over fast eating.
Fast and friendly service on the drive thru. I lacked 1 item from my order and when I explained it to them, they immediately gave me no questions. Extreme Courteous on the ride thru. Would definitely go back to this Wendy.
Sitting at 21:00 and the line for the Drive-Thru was very long. At first I thought it had something to do with the weather, but I think it was the employees inside who were somehow slow and perhaps overwhelmed with a sudden influx of customers. I also assumed another reason was because we were in a really bad thunder and lightning storm. I had never experienced this kind of slowness with this special Wendys before. We ordered a burger, pommes and drink for a passenger and then a big chili just to say they were out of him. I felt disappointed because that's the first one ever happened. With stomach problems I can only tolerate soups, chili and stew and without chili, I was lucky because I forgot to buy or make extra soup at home. This is one of the nicer restaurants as well as an open later fast food spots that remain open in the Fargo Moorhead area at 21:00. Wendy is later open as there are more options for food selection, but it will try a bit ridiculous to find somewhere that is not McDonald's. But even they close in those days early. I would recommend these Wendy's, but just don't come at 9:00, provided there's chili and some other things you're enjoying. I suppose you could also say that this is a sign of a good menu choice and to eat space as the food goes fast.. Value is excellent as with portion size. Besides, it is very close to the highway that makes it convenient if you want to travel randomly and want a fast place. (In my opinion, this special night was not her norm.
The drive through line went surprisingly fast for how many cars were ahead of us; you can't see the board though because the lights are burnt out; the fries were very fresh; sandwich was made inaccurately and had a weird taste to it, like, it was very strange and had way too much sauce (don't worry, it was normal sauce from what we could tell lolol).. anywho, customer service was a hit or miss. There was literally a guy who wouldn't stop glaring, next to a young kid who was very friendly and upbeat. It was a pretty typical post-covid fast food experience. Don't think anything less of the place, though, YOU SHOULD PAY YOUR STAFF MORE so we're guaranteed we actually WERE eating true mayo... The sign outside offers $14/hr walk-in interviews.... do they not realize that Taco Bell and Chic Fil A 4 blocks north have the same types of jobs to offer and they're starting at $17?! And that was a year ago they were paying that, meaning it could be more now. How ANY establishment thinks they can start out at $14/hr is beyond me, especially when it's a customer service job! That alone could be this place's demise. Gross. Take care of your employees.
