Smoqehouse - Faribault

This is a really neat little spot in an otherwise quite dreary shopping mall. The Smoqt House Club BBQ Sandwich was good, but it didn’t have that special flair to make it truly unique. The portion of Pommes I ordered was ample enough for two people, in my opinion. The selection of canned beers was surprisingly good for a small establishment, featuring local Minnesota brews alongside the usual macro beers.

We decided to visit this restaurant on a whim, mistakenly thinking they closed at 8:00 PM according to Google, but they actually close at 7:00 PM. My husband and I are always on the lookout for establishments that offer fresh food with great flavor. I ordered the Brisketburger, and it was fantastic! The presentation was impressive as well. My only critique would be the size of the sandwiches relative to their price. My husband opted for the BBQ pork sandwich, which he also enjoyed, though the buns were on the small side. The decor is quite authentic, and the beer selection is pretty good. It’s a nice spot in the mall. Don’t forget to ask about the Poutineries — they’re supposed to be incredible! I appreciate that they source their ingredients locally.

The grill is impressive, and the slow-roasted pig is absolutely amazing. The hand-cut fries are perfect as well. Prices are very reasonable, and while the atmosphere in the shopping center isn’t ideal, it’s still quite enjoyable. The music is fun, the staff is hardworking, and the food is exceptional for the price.

We have to stop eating here every day (sorry! . We are never disappointed unless we have ordered too much and can eat everything (the frits are big. It seems like almost every sandwich is the best, but I hope they bring back the Big Kahuna themselves. Don't expect a rib joint and you won't be disappointed. You have a small selection, right made.

Restaurant located inside the mall, small but very nicely decorated. Small menu but the flavor makes up for it. I had the mushroom and Swiss burger with poutine fries. The burger was perfectly cooked with bigger red line in the center with mushrooms sand a delicious thyme aoli. The fried was big enough for 2 people.
