I tried a hot roast beef sandwich for the first time today at this restaurant. Unfortunately, after a mix-up with my order and a long wait, I noticed that they were microwaving the roast beef. I requested for it to be cooked on the grill instead, and the sandwich was quickly served to me. However, when I opened it at work, I found that it was still steaming but had a rubbery texture and lacked flavor. It was evident that the roast beef had been microwaved in the back.
Pricing is ridiculous to say the least spent 30 bucks on two breakfast sandwiches and a child platter and the people act clueless at the register as if the price is being made up on the spot. And the lady was rude like she wanted me to hurry up payand leave. Never again how this place still remains in that plaza is a mystery. Worst deli experience
My boyfriend and I ordered breakfast and while we were waiting for our food to be cooked we asked for 2 medium iced coffee cups the cashier gave them to us and said make them and come right back. As we were making our coffee the staff were cleaning aroundis and slamming things. The food was OK. Bagels were put together sloppy and the potatoes we ordered were cold. Felt like wewere treated rudely /hostile.
I ordered food from this restaurant through Uber Eats. Two minutes after placing my order, Gold Meyer changed the price and charged an extra $2. While not a major issue, a reputable business should not engage in such sneaky tactics. Despite this, I decided to proceed with the order. However, a few minutes later they inexplicably cancelled my order. There are plenty of other delis out there that value and appreciate their customers.
