Sunrise Cafe - Farmington Hills

This small restaurant, run by a kind-hearted owner, makes you feel truly valued as a customer. The food is excellent, the prices are good, and the place is clean. Overall, an excellent dining experience.

The restaurant appears to have undergone recent renovations, and for the price and location, it was perfect. After a long month, I arrived and essentially passed out while watching Forensic Files. The following day, I met up with my sister and dad for lunch at Basement Burger Bar, a fantastic spot in Downtown Farmington where you can customize your own burger and salad. During the day, it functions more as a traditional restaurant with a variety of seating options, but at night it transforms into a lively nightlife spot with a wide selection of craft beers. You receive a menu and a dry erase marker to create your burger with toppings of your choice before turning it in. I opted for a bison burger with Swiss cheese, jalapeno, pineapple, and other toppings on a pretzel bun. As a fan of game burgers, this creation did not disappoint. The rest of the day was filled with errands, Thanksgiving dinner preparations, and quality time with my family. I also helped out with Thanksgiving side dishes at my mom's house, including making cranberry sauce.

This restaurant is on the smaller side and has a bit of an outdated feel, but don't let that deter you. The food is actually quite good. During our visit, we tried the coffee, waffle with bananas and walnuts, and veggie omelette with turkey sausage. Our waitress, Sara, was very friendly and offered some helpful recommendations.

Go Here!! You will not regret it! As I searched places for coffee after my appointment at the millennium, this hidden gem of a place popped up. Since the star rating and pictures of food looked so appealing, I decided to go here. I had a Greek omelet which had tomato, red onions, spinach and feta cheese. I did substitute the feta for goat cheese, since I never see goat cheese on a menu anywhere, and I did also add bacon . This omelet was the most delicious omelet I have had in a long time. I asked my hashbrowns to be well done and they were perfectly cooked. My rye toast, also exceptionally cooked to the perfect texture of crisp and soft. I am in love with this place! They have such different menu items that anyone is sure to find pleasing to their palette. I would recommend this place to anyone that is in the area or even if your not! This is such a friendly place, and Leeza herself makes you feel so welcomed.

Amazing food and friendly fast service! I had the avacados toast with Boursin cheese. The fluffy egg white omelettes are the best I ever had. Great diner and good coffee with flavored creamer. Leeza is the owner and personally greets the guests to make them feel welcomed. 110% recommend!
