Cais 73 - Faro

Loved the large toasted sandwiches which were big enough for two people, nice bar with good selection of drinks, and a very nice upstairs bar overlooking the sea. Great for snacks anytime

After my run I decided to have something to eat, Cais 73 was the closest. I only wanted to have a nice toast, something with chocolate and some water and sit outside. After coming inside, despite two people behind the bar, it took a while to get someone to pick my order. I good the rudest waiter on earth, no smile, no greeting only a grim on his face. I asked if I could pay by card and just said only above €5 that was ok. I asked for something with chocolate and he told me they had nothing. Only when pointed to the cake next to him he realised that was chocolate, when I asked for a 500 ml water bottle he only told me three times large or small. I didn't understood at first but then realised that they only had 330 ml and 1.5 l. I asked if that was true and he said yes, so I took a big bottle. I have also ordered a big garlic chicken toast. Since the cake was next to him I asked if he could hand me a slice because I needed sugar only to be told that he had other things to do so I should sit and he would take to my table when he had the time. So I sat down and waited for a while, the cake was delicious and the chicken garlic was acceptable. The place was very clean and looked posh on the inside. I got a dirty table outside that no one bothered in cleaning it for me not even when they got the food out. This looks like a new place so hopefully they will improve on time for the Summer rush.

The place is recently renewed. Not too fancy, but really well locatied. Serves drinks and simple food. If one wants to take the toast to the terrace (which is the best feature of the place), client has to do it by him/herself.... weird. Upstairs they just serve drinks. But the views from terrace are really good to the ocean side and to the ria side. The toast is just OK.

I went to the dach: amazing (and huge) toasties. amazing cocktails. beautiful decorated place. enjoy a first-class view of the sunset. good mood and environmental music. artur is a wonderful host.

Amazing host and service! The restaurant was very busy, but still had a great service. Food was excellent and the toast is halfway on the picture! Hehe We would definitely come back!
