We left so satisfied! The portions were large, and everything was delicious. Best vegan breakfast I have had in a restaurant. Can’t wait to go back to try the other vegan options. My daughter had biscuits and gravy with vegan sausage, and I had the vegan tofu scramble platter.
Been eating at Arsega's for years and have never had a bad dish from their (seasonally rotating) menu. Staff is always kind and attentive, great location and vibe. Check out the menu so you're prepared for the prices before coming.
Arsaga’s Mill District LOOKS adorable. The dining area and patio are beautiful. The menu is creative.Sadly, we cannot recommend this restaurant. After waiting an hour and a half only a little longer than typical among Sunday brunch locations we were underwhelmed with our meals. The Dutch Baby had no rise at all. It was a sweet flat puck with a puddle of fruit on the top. My son was very hungry and had no idea what a real dutch baby looks like- he said it tasted fine. Maybe. But it wasn’t a dutch baby.My avocado toast was missing the egg.My husband’s order of french toast with a side of bacon was flat out terrible. The french toast was black. Overcooked to the point of looking dry and ashy; crumbly not “custardy”. The side of bacon may well have been corn husks. Also overcooked, ashy and dry looking. We alerted the server about the french toast she said it was supposed to be that way. But she would order another. in a tone that implied we were incorrect about the dish- y’all, if a breeze blew across it, that French toast would have turned to dust and floated away. We were surprised that anyone would serve a dish that looked like that.We took a bite to test it. Maybe we WERE wrong? Nope. dry dry dry. The replacement was less over done, but still on the dry side, with little flavor. The replacement bacon was as awful as the original. My son and I also had sides of bacon- ours were nice thick pieces cooked properly, which makes it even more surprising that my husband was served terrible bacon twice. The server forgot the signature latte that we ordered. After the food came, we asked about it. She said she would “check on it,” and returned with a regular latte. Not what we ordered. It was “meh.” Again, when asked about it , no apology, no care or concern that anything was amiss. When we received the bill, the server said she had comped the latte and took 20% off the french toast without any prompting. So there was some acknowledgement that the meal was not right. It was appreciated, but didn’t go far enough to make us want to return. There were big problems with 100% of what we ordered.*i forgot the avocado toast should have egg until after we left, so there was no opportunity for that to be remedied or adjusted on the tab.Arsaga’s was a beautiful place, but served the worst meal we have had while dining out.
Staff were helpful and prompt. The yogurt with granola was tasty and a good serving. The chai's were very good, but they were only warm (but so good I had 2! .
