Sino Wok Chinese Eatery - Fayetteville

My kids really enjoy the food at this restaurant. They serve generous portions, and the kids' meals are quite substantial—enough for an adult, in fact. Each meal even includes a drink. I spent just $12 for two kids’ meals, which is an amazing deal. My son loves the honey mustard chicken, while my daughter prefers the blackened chicken.

I hadn’t been to the mall in a long time, so I decided to try Sino Wok today. The service was great, and the portion sizes were enough for a family, but unfortunately, everything was lacking in flavor. There wasn’t enough sauce, and the chicken pieces were all dry. I ordered the two-item rice combo with Bourbon and Mandarin chicken. This place used to be much better years ago, but I'm not sure I would order from here again. The total came to just over $12 with an egg roll, but I wish I had gone with my first choice at the Thai restaurant, which offered samples.

My food was served cold. After taking just two bites, I returned it to the counter. It was not made fresh to order and had come from the bar. When I requested a refund, I was informed that it wasn't possible because I didn't want the cold food. The cashier pointed to a sign that clearly stated "No Refunds or Exchanges." Thankfully, the manager stepped in and offered to have my order cooked fresh. I accepted and received a hot meal that looked appealing. Unfortunately, the flavor didn't match the appearance. You live and learn, but I won't be returning to this location for food again. I gave it two stars because the manager was helpful.

Every item was bad. Flavors just off... Sesame chicken was not what you would expect. The bourbon chicken was so dry it was inedible and had a very distinct char flavor. The rice was gross as well. $14 I'll never get back for this mess.

Food tastes nasty and overpriced. Rude workers who don't care and portion sizes small. Won't ever come back food nasty and Luke warm.
