Affordable, delicious, quick, friendly, and completely ignored by people that overlook it. It deserves more attention.
Big portions.. quality food, love the vibe. I used to go to VI in other states and I came across one in Federal Way. The same family-like atmosphere found inside, same quality food, friendly servers. I will visit more often.
We used to frequent Village Inn in Va Beach so when we found out it was one in Federal Way we went immediately. This location is just like home. Clean, quiet and busy all at the same time. Lucky us we got ahead of the crowd. We went on a Weds so it was free slice of pie day!! Our waitress was very nice and friendly. Table/booth was clean. Silverware and cups were clean. Food came out fast and piping hot. My wife was satisfied with her coffee. This is one of the few places that we know of that has grits. Buttermilk pancakes, veggie scramble for me. My wife got the multi grain pancakes, grits, fresh fruit and shredded potatoes. It was all delicious and left us super full. We had to take our pie to go! I think mon tues kids eat free and weds is free pie day. I love this place especially since it’s just like home! I recommend Village inn for breakfast. Try it out you won’t be disappointed!
Honestly a little surprised. Exterior isn't anything to get worked up about, but the experience deserves another visit. The food was solid, and was plenty for me; and I'm a big eater. Service was pretty well on point. If you're just looking for good breakfast food at a good price, this place gets high marks. I only have 2 criticisms. First, the menu hits a lot of fields, but each only has a few offerings. Even the super-versatile omelet only had 4 choices. Second, was the bathroom needed some touch up; but considering, I don't think that was from staff failure to maintain, so much as a one-off guest trashing a stall. Overall, would recommend.
We have always enjoyed our meals here. We both had the turkey dinners along with salads. Our service was excellent which it always is. The owner Anthony is always friendly and personable. We ate at Village Inn often when we lived in Arizona, and was surprised to find this is the last one in Washington State. We highly recommend this place, and strongly encourage you to support this business.
