The wakame seaweed in the soup was so delicious that we heard it was sold at a nearby store and bought some to take home. We took a nap in the relaxation room until it was time to catch the bus back.
Although the anglerfish liver was sold out, it was nice to be able to enjoy anglerfish in the summer. They replaced it with a local side dish when it was sold out, and the price was lowered accordingly, making it a conscientious choice. The smell of sulfur from the hot springs fills the air, but the facility is new and the service is welcoming. On a clear day, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains of the Kameda Peninsula, including Mt. Eshan, across the river.
