The Crown Mitre - Fenland

This charming village pub has a welcoming atmosphere, serving generous portions of delicious food. Our group tried a variety of dishes and each one was enjoyed by all. Tash, the bartender, provided exceptional service and made us feel right at home. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

My husband and I who are visitors to the area had wonderful meals. Both meals under £10 and my husband said it was the best beef steak ale pie he has ever had!!!!! Big portions and homemade. The locals are a friendly bunch too. Our dog was also welcome…. there’s dog treats and water available! This is a real old traditional pub that deserves a high rating!

The food was delicious and our group of nine really enjoyed it. All of our dishes arrived together and were hot. It did take a while for the food to come out, but we didn't mind once we started eating because it was so good. Unfortunately, some of the drinks and all of the appetizers we wanted were not available. However, the steak and ale pie was particularly tasty.

My friend and I went to this restaurant with some friends for Sunday lunch. It was refreshing to see a traditional village pub that has not been overly modernized. We had a great experience - the staff was friendly, the locals were welcoming and talkative, and the food was fantastic. We will definitely be returning.

Just had one of the best sirloin steaks I've ever had, and the staff are great, excellent value for money, and a a hearty welcome was had.
