Very promptly welcomed and seated.<br/ <br/ There's plenty to choose from in the menu. Craving something sweet and got the Panna cotta granola special, the boyfriend went for the Cavocado smash. <br/ Food came relatively quickly, but I was slightly disappointed when the Panna cotta arrived. It was in a big plate and hence it looked empty. Mind you I was definitely full and satisfied at the end but the presentation could be better. Boyfriend's avocado smash is definitely worth the price. Thick layer of avo and 2 eggs+2 pieces of Haloumi! <br/ <br/ Coffee was good but not exceptional, food was better.
I went on a Monday and it was closed it was so sad. But I managed to go on a day it was open and the coffee was good. I'm glad I went back :
Vegetarian Gluten Free Delight!<br <br Lowdown: I ordered the V GF option, corn fritters, which is extremely unusual behaviour for me as I’d usually make little work of a big breakfast. However, the corn fritters, were soft, full of flavour, and filling enough to kickstart a healthy and active day without inducing lethargy. They are so delicious that if I were a vegetarian, I’d hope to find a dish this tasty at specialty restaurants! The coffee here is also fantastic!!<br <br Pro tip: To get an additional protein hit, order a poached egg and break it over the top of your corn fritters…<br <br <br IG: ScottyGordonEats
In Short: If there is only one reason to stop in Gladesville, Cav Co. is that reason. Fantastic coffee and a menu filled with classics with a twist. Make sure you add the French Toast to the list. Raspberry caviar, anyone?. <br/ <br/ We all know those suburbs. You know, the drive through ones, the ones that unless you live there, there aren’t a whole lot of compelling reasons to stop. Gladesville has been one of those suburbs, the one you pass either on your way to Hunters Hill or through to Macquarie Park. But now, there is finally a reason to veer off Victoria Road, and down Pittwater Road to head to Cav Co., the newest addition, and a breath of fresh air, to this surburban landscape.
Amazing coffee, service and atmosphere.
