New to Parramatta and with such a choice of Chinese restaurants, we someone chose Canton House last week to try. Then it was excellent (Hokkien noodles standout) so back tonight to try the laksa and very impressed. Delicious and spicy.
Friendly staff, service is not always quick but great food and taste. Quality can fluctuate between lunch and dinner, dinner always being the best time. I can honestly say, I really enjoy both take away and eating in (it is very intimate). If you are in the are, check these guys out. Prices are good too. Thank you and keep up the great work!
The service is pretty mediocre, but I guess that's expected from a place that's understaffed and over crowded, nonetheless, the food came out all together which is good for a Chinese Restuarant, I had read other reviews prior to tasting, and some stated it was greasy, I however didn't not have a problem with it, a little bit of grease comes with the territory. Overall pretty good, only think I didn't like was the inundation of onions in the Mongolian lamb.
The salt and pepper squid is delicious. I’ve been coming here over a ten year period and either ordered take away or dined in. The take away food was always delicious and reasonable prices. I’ve dined on and off over the years, the service is always super friendly and the menu cantonese and southeast asian.
