Average japanese restaurant, I think the staff is korean so it may not be super authentic.<br/ <br/ I have only gotten take away.<br/ <br/ The food is generally OK, it has improved recently with a newer tempura batter that has some extra crunchy bits in it, quite nice.<br/ <br/ The sushi is usually served a little lukewarm I prefer it a little cooler but in general it is decently presented. combination boxes are probably best value comes with some miso soup, rice, mains, some small sushi assorted, tempura prawns and veggies with a small salad.<br/ <br/ Overall I would probably recommend the udon/rice dishes over pure sushi.<br/ <br/ A little pricey for what you get.
We were aimlessly wondering through this area, searching for a place to have lunch. Unfortunately, it was past three o'clock and a majority of the cafes and restaurants had stopped serving lunch. We got lucky with this Japanese restaurant. They serve the usual suspects and their bento boxes are my favorite, minus the miso soup, something was not quite right with it.
With eat in or takeaway options I’d pay this place a visit if you’re after the standard Japanese lunch – think curry, udon soups and sushi. If you order a bento, you’ll receive complimentary miso soup, although I think miso soup is usually provided anyway when you’re eating in.Lunch bento $17
The Takayaki balls are very nice,it's just Crunchy enough that once you get into the centre,it almost melts in your mouth, yum! The miso soup isn't watered down, the sushi in my bento was pretty good quality,so was everything else in my pork katsu bento.Prices are decent, food came out at a decent rate, ambience wise it's small but cosyMaybe it was because I was hungry and the meal was filling but I like this place!
