Contribuisci feedbackI recently stumble upon Harris.miller Cafe for a 3 day business event. After a brief discussion with the owner (I believe), I was assured they were able to deliver my demand for 30+ guests. With this said, I was absolutely blown away over with the level of service I received by the people at Harris.miller Cafe. The food and dessert (over the course of 3 days) was better than initially described, especially the dietary requirements. I highly recommend them for any business catering services requirements, and will definitely be using them for my next event.
Nothing particularly noteworthy about Harris.miller but still a good solid cafe. Decent decor and fit out to relax in with in and outdoor seating. Elevated from street level adds to the ambience also althiugh we did find the music a little loud and intrusive at 7:30am. Coffee is Gyspy Expresso which is a solid drop and comes in one of the best looking takeaway cups around. Dish of choice was the French toast which was hybridised well and truly with fairyfloss and Gaytime icrecream fingers sliced lengthways. Huge portion too. Brioche I thought lacked flavour but certainly a great looking plate. Menu otherwise is pretty standard. Overall, a nice enough Cafe that for me just lacked a little that certain little something.
Very busy for Sunday brunch, but was lucky enough to get a table outside without having to wait. A few things probably added to the 'busyness '. Firstly the inside space is not that big (it was also very noisy with the noise trapped in the box cafe). There were also not many floor staff (I could see only 2 servicing the cafe, inside outside (there was also a big queue to pay), which for us sitting outside meant difficult to get attention when you want to order. That aside, the staff were actually quite friendly. We ordered the French Toast, and the chef came out and offered us a new version he was working on with Golden Gaytime instead of banana vanilla ice cream. Don 't know what the original was like, but this new version was delicious! A little heavy without any fruit or tang to offset, the nuts did add a nice crunch, but if you have a sweet tooth want a big eat, then this is perfect.
After seeing a mate visit @harris.miller.sydney I couldnt not go in and try their brekky menu.<br/ <br/ 'The morning After ': double bacon, double egg, hash brown, BBQ sauce, cheddar, onion jam, grilled tomato squeezed on a soft milk bun <br/ <br/ Also got the French toast which was divine. Perfectly soft and toasted nice sweet mascarpone.<br/ <br/ This is why brekky is so important. All the food groups. All the love. Wish I had 've added beef lol. Next time <br/
Really delicious. Would definitely recommend! I had the breakfast burger and it was very tasty indeed! The chocolate milkshake was also a favourite!
