Mifune Japanese - Feock United Kingdom

My wife and I've been there for a couple times for dinner and lunch. Their dishes are always amazing and authentic. Deep fried oysters are fantastic.

Best Japanese in the region. I really enjoyed some dishes like the eggplant and the gyoza. Suggestion: please upgrade your chopsticks, it was super hard to eat noodles with them! Plain bamboo chopsticks would work a lot better. Keep up the good work in the kitchen!

Ive never been to Japan but Ive eaten Sushi, Sashimi, Udon and many more for years but I had no idea what good sushi was till I ate here. Its amazing. Its not your corner Sushi role place... Its a real Japanese restaurant.. and its here in Carlton!! My Japanese girlfriend from Saitama Japan said this is above par Sushi, Sashimi, everything even for Japan. Try it it will change everything. Sushi and Sashimi is soft, creamy with great texture plenty of flavour. Now I know what it should really taste like and Im planning a trip to Japan to have this explore this even more. Thanks Mifune! 5 Stars! You blew my mind!!

The takoyaki were crispy and golden on the outside, and the octopus filling inside piping hot and gooey and delicious...the chicken katsune was wonderful as well. Lovely staff and reasonable prices in an elegant, pared-back space ...Bluesy rock and roll music was playing the night we visited, which may sound an odd choice for a Japanese restaurant, but for some reason it perfectly complemented the food and the minimalist surroundings.
