Pork ribs was good. And they serve dishes so fast.I strongly recommend you order a veggie should help you digest as I drank as much water as I could.A bit cloying when you got stir fried rice with squid.
Very nice restaurant with reasonable price. We ordered the squid ink rice and the Singapore-style fish. They all taste amazing. Only downside is you have to wait for a while to enter as this restaurant does not accept any reservation.
This is a pretty good Chinese restaurant for delicious filling dishes. The portions are really large and definitely worth its price. I tried the stir fried sliced potato which was really good and the garlic prawn with stir fried rice in squid ink which was one of my favourites. The place gets pretty busy during peak times so get there early or wait!
My favourite restaurant in Hurstville, hands down. It has one of the most inventive menus I have seen for Chinese food and importantly delicious, yet inexpensive. The dishes are exceptionally presented, which was a real delight to see (let's just say presentation isn't high up on the list of priorities in Chinese cuisine and this comes from a Chinese person! .Almost every dish I have tried has had some sort of surprising and interesting twist to it. You can really tell a lot of effort has gone into both creating the menu and the food.<br/ <br/ My favourite dishes (in order of preference are the Garlic Prawn with Stir Fried Rice in Squid Ink Sauce, Deep Fried Eggplant in Bread Crumb, Shanghai Braised Pork Belly and Singapore Style Barramundi but ONLY when paired with deep fried buns (which you can use to soak up that spicy sauce .<br/ <br/ Honourable mentions go to the Wagyu Beef with Chips (which is incredibly tender , Seafood Noodle Soup and the Marinated Tender Chicken in Vegetable Sauce that mysterious green sauce is a delightful novelty, although I probably wouldn't order it more than once. Do not bother with the Pan Fried Pork Bun as there are better in Hurstville.<br/ <br/ Get in there early as otherwise there will be a wait. Aim to get there by about 5:30pm.<br/ <br/ Overall, a must try if you are in the area.
