Platia Greek Taverna

The kakavia was cooked so well and was such good value for money with the amount of seafood. I would have loved a bit more bread for the tomato base, but overall it was fantastic.

I was in Sydney on a business trip, and came across this lovely restaurant just by chance one evening.<br/ <br/ Quite a few different options to eat it was hard to make my choice.<br/ <br/ I chose the Taramasalata to begin with and was not disappointed, followed by a wonderful Moussaka. I suitable full and content afterwards. It reminded me of my days in Kos, Greece.<br/ <br/ The staff were very friendly.<br/ <br/ Next time I am in town THIS is one place I WILL be returning

Like a lot of people who have written a review, my partner and I used a Groupon deal. I was 5 mins late because I did not know the restaurant was inside Top Ryde shopping Centre. We went on a Sunday night but the place was still busy. We purchased a Greek Feast, and that is exactly what we got. Very, very good food. There is no way two people can finish that much food, but we gave it our best shot. That was the best Greek food I have ever had. The lamb was just superb. We will try and get back on the last Friday of the month for the full Greek dining experience.

Went there Saturday night with a group of 6 Had the banquet and was very impressed portions were very good and every meal was delicious and the Greek coffee to finish, with the mint on the spoon in water topped the night The only small advice I would offer is the guys playing the music need to turn it down one notch as it was a bit loud and found it hard to converse with others on our table and maybe after 10 pm turn it up All in all a great night out be service was also very very good thank you

Went for a Saturday lunch. Food was fantastic, came out in a timely manner and was all fresh. The food was really tasty and staff were friendly and knew a lot about the food. Staff could have been happier, but a very minor criticism to a fantastic lunch. I will definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be back!
