Service was terrible and menu was pricey. Skip it and take the drive to Jacksonville to have a better dinner or find someplace else on the island.
Took my favorite lady to Brett's. The view, drinks, meal, dessert, and service were all perfect!
Jet-lagged, late plane, decided to spare children our late arrival. JAX to Amelia Island choosing Addison B&B in Historic Ferdinandia because we did not know about all the fancy Amelia Island beach, Walked down Center Street, attracted by the waterfront and the sunset. So we entered Brett’s at the pier to avail the sunset. Great assortment of wine by the glass (5 years of Wine Spectator Awards on the wall , incredible crab cakes and Fried green tomatoes and salad ...and very incredible warm breads. On the veranda, in rattan chairs with the sun going down, being watched by a couple of pelicans (moving sculptures on the adjacent roof. Boy, were we feeling lucky. Pricey, but not unusual for setting and quality. In use by tourists and locals.
Our children took us to dinner at Brett's while we were visiting and the food and service was absolutely fabulous!
