Sunshine Grindz - Fernandina Beach

This little spot is a gem. The musubi is to die for and the poke is fresh and full of so much flavor. Can't wait to try the katsu!

Nothing like upchucking for 2 days, and blowing up the toilet… Thought the food tasted a little off Friday, but I was thinking it was just seasoning/ spices. Boy was I wrong, paid all weekend for that experience. Didn’t realize a quick lunch would almost put me in the hospital. Certainly will not be back. Can’t image how back the catering is, if you can’t get the food in the building correct/ fresh, does the catering food walk itself to the events.

Had the seared ahi tuna bowl on greens today. Amazing. So happy the dining room area is open- it is lovely!

Had to grab some food quickly finish errands for the day.....I spent a totally of 8 mins in the restaurant waiting for Togo food. Guess what? It wasn't fried, wasn't a bunch of processed cheap food, it was super fresh Ahi Tuna with cucumbers, edamame, green onions, rice topped with avocado. Totally worth the visit! I can't wait to try the Brisket Ramen bowl!

I we were super excited to try this place. And I do promise to give it another try but our initial visit was so disappointing. I had the spicy tuna and it was so salty I couldn't finish it. I asked for an addition of greens thinking they'd toss In a few greens with the rice but no. It was literally just a few greens. Super disappointing. The dish needed rice and greens to cut all the strong flavor with the sauces. My partner had the flank steak bowl and claimed it was mediocre, I think it's just growing pains but when you drop nearly $30!for lunch for two, you expect a bit more b
