China King Buffet - Fernley

The food is at its best when you arrive shortly after they open, as it’s freshly prepared with a great variety to choose from. I especially love their spicy chicken. If you find yourself in Lovelock or Fallon and don't feel like traveling all the way to Reno for a Chinese buffet, definitely stop by here!

We used to dine here frequently, but since COVID, it seems they've switched to cheaper ingredients. The chicken dishes now have a texture that's reminiscent of rawhide—stringy and tough, requiring a lot of effort to chew and often ending up being spat out. Today, I started feeling unwell only 20 minutes after eating, and I initially thought it was just me. However, five hours later, my partner also fell ill. I would recommend eating somewhere else.

It's a quaint Chinese buffet that offers delicious food and has a welcoming staff. At our first visit, we found the buffet area to be quite small, but after exploring the selection, I realized they do a commendable job of keeping everything stocked and the quality is quite nice. We've returned several times since and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff is excellent at clearing plates, offering refills, and they are generally very friendly.

Me and my friend went there for lunch. Very good. Love the shrimp ???? egg flower soup. But honestly everything I tried was really good.

I've dined here before, but my experience today was awful! We arrived for lunch at 1:00 PM. They were snapping green beans at a table, seated us, and after handling cash from another customer, they didn't wash their hands. The buffet had only small portions of food in each section, and everything looked soggy and past its prime. My daughter didn't want to eat anything because it all looked unappetizing, yet they still charged me for her meal, despite her not eating. I'm not going back—this visit left me very upset. Additionally, their kids were roughhousing in the corner of the restaurant.
