I also expect to be able to break a $100 bill at 4 PM. Additionally, there were six staff members on duty, yet they seemed more focused on chatting and joking with each other than attending to their customers. To make matters worse, one of those six was the manager. Overall, the service was very disappointing.
Yesterday, I called to inquire about the salad bar and buffet. They provided a thorough explanation but eventually confirmed that it was open. I was looking forward to enjoying a nice salad after work, along with a slice or two of pizza. However, when I arrived, I was disappointed to learn that they no longer serve pizza on the buffet (a casualty of COVID, perhaps?). So it was just the salad. I really wanted to be excited about it, but then I noticed the browning and bitter pieces of iceberg lettuce. Most of the containers were low and nearly empty, and the tomatoes were well past their prime. The salad dressing was watered down—normally, I love their Ranch, but not last night. Overall, it was a huge letdown and far too expensive for bagged salad and a few toppings.
It had been quite a while since we visited Fernley Round Table due to various changes in ownership and management, along with some less-than-stellar reviews. However, I decided to try it again yesterday with a friend. While I was disappointed that pizza is no longer offered on the lunch buffet, I found the salad bar and the breadsticks we ordered to be excellent. The greens were fresh and crisp, there were plenty of high-quality toppings, and the chilled dressings were plentiful. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. As school is starting back up, I hope you consider bringing back the true buffet experience. Prices have gone up, but that seems to be the case everywhere nowadays.
This place is a joke! Called in my order, and let the kid know I was entering bad reception area, etc. Anyway, I was finished ordering, let him know that was it and then service cut out and call was lost. Not once did I receive a call back nor did I think I should call just to make sure order went thru! When I showed up about 25 minutes later, there was no order for me to pick up. The ridiculous child who took my order said he wasn't sure I still wanted my order since call was dropped! I asked him if he bothered to call me back, he said uhhhhh no. And I had to walk out! Don't waste your time going here! Horrible customer service!
Very nice lady at register. She help us choose good toppings for pizza. It was a great experience.
