Contribuisci feedbackPossibly the worst and most dried out lamb we’ve ever had, and the Prime Rib was overdone and dry. The octopus had the opposite problem and was under cooked. Service was mediocre, but the real shocker was paying $200 for the really awful food. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
We had Sunday brunch. The food was good, but not outstanding. Given the number of choices offered, we were able to find food offerings that our whole family were satisfied with.
Good choice of menu and good meal, although not very hot. Long and very ordinary service. Also they charged us 2 bottles of wine rather than 2 glasses. Vegetarian options: There were a few vegetarian options and a vegan one so we could do ahuster if needed. Extraordinarily slow and inattentive service — never asked how everything was/if we needed anything, only took one additional drink order after the first (over four hours), water glasses rarely filled, etc. Took us four hours from sitting down to signing the check and leaving! Waiter didn’t seem to know the menu very well/projected a vibe of indifference. Sommelier was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. Food/drink was fine. Salmon entree was well made but sauce was overly sweet/lacked balance — needed some form of savory or acid to offset. Pork belly app and cheesecake were both very good. Spicy margarita was not spicy at all but fine otherwise. Conehead was Conehead (canned; no draft beers available). The basin harbor club is like a time capsule, so is the menu at ardelia's. Very 1990's inspired menu. The food is good, there are a few issues with consistency and execution of individual dishes. Temperature and blending of flavors is an issue, and a few of the sauces separated a bit. Over all enjoyable, well prepared food. Not particularly exciting but high in nostalgia.
