The Sportsman’s - Ferryville

What a hidden gem! We decided to stop by Sportsman’s, and we're so glad we did! The Rib-eye sandwich was incredible! The staff was very attentive, making sure we had plenty of pico de gallo and drinks. They also encouraged us to try their homemade spicy ranch dipping sauce, which was a great addition. We will definitely return with the whole family!

We shouldn't have to get up to fetch our own coffee or track down the cook for our missing items because the waitresses are outside. On top of that, it took forever to get the bill. We had to ask multiple times before the waitress finally handed it over—only to see her chatting with another staff member for an additional 10 minutes right in front of us. It was incredibly frustrating! At one point, she looked over and remarked, “Wow, did you hear that?” as if we were in high school. We shouldn’t have to raise our voices just to be heard when we need to leave!

Of course, there's beer! I'm enjoying a Dilly Burger, and it's absolutely delicious. The cheese curds are also fantastic with a nice kick of spice! And let's not forget the amazing view of the mighty Mississippi River!

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had! I ordered a Bloody Mary but specifically requested it to be not spicy, and I couldn't even drink it. No one came to our table, so I had to go to the bar to get other drinks myself. After finally placing our order, I asked for cheese curds to start, but we ended up waiting 45 minutes for our food, despite only two other tables ordering. When our food finally arrived, the cheese curds were still missing, and to make matters worse, I found hair in my meal! I was so disgusted that we decided to leave. I've never encountered such poor service or food in my life!

Under new ownership and I'm excited for their opening! The view of the Mississippi is the best in town.
