We spent one night at the new small lodges and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabins, although a bit bare looking, are still being finished along with the grounds. The location is pretty and quiet, not far from St Andrews center. The cabins are dog-friendly, which was a big plus for us as it was our dog's first holiday and he loved it. The only downside was that there weren't any walking trails on site as it is surrounded by a golf course. Overall, we had a great stay.
This venue was a complete disaster. They should just stick to doing weddings, which seems to be their only strong suit. The security team, Strike Force, were absolutely terrible and incredibly rude. Students who attended the May Ball were treated horribly, even worse than animals. It's concerning to think about whether there were any serious incidents or worse. It's appalling to mistreat people who have clearly spent a significant amount of money to be there. This experience was a huge disappointment. It's unfortunate that prioritizing profits was more important than ensuring people's safety. I am truly disgusted by this experience.
This is truly an awesome venue. For our Family Wedding. The Kinkell Team could not be more accommodating and helpful. This is an old Byre… look it up but the Word Byre just does not do it justice. The lighting was superb the setup was stunning . Everything the Happy Couple wanted was provided . Well done Team Kinkell Sophie , Steveie the Lighting expert and MC … cracking job!
My nephew and his fiancee chose this venue to host their wedding and it surpassed my expectations . Loads of space in converted farm buildings for drinking ,dining and dancing until the wee samll hours.
