The food was excellent, but the portions were small. The box was filled with fish and a few chips. The flavors were amazing, but I was still hungry after a long 4-hour drive.
I suggested this fish and chip shop to my family, and we ordered takeout yesterday. Unfortunately, every meal was overcooked and terrible. We will not be returning and feel like we wasted our money. The food was so bad, we ended up throwing it away.
I was not impressed with the staff at this restaurant. It seemed like they were ignoring customers and not giving good service. The young server who helped me did not seem to be in a good mood. As someone who works in a restaurant myself, I know how customers should be treated, and this was not it. The staff was not very attentive and seemed more interested in gossiping. The chef even had to remind them to serve customers and speak clearly. They had to ask customers to repeat their orders multiple times. The portion sizes were small and the prices were higher than expected. I will not be returning to this restaurant. The staff need to improve their customer service skills.
Overpriced and small portions. Burger and chips. Why is it battered and not in a bun? Rock hard scampi, dry chips and a runny curry sauce. All this for £15.10! Glad I had some bread indoors.
