The food at this restaurant is consistently excellent and I have been a loyal customer for many years. Unfortunately, the new young receptionist lacks essential customer service skills. She comes off as rude and abrupt, and struggles to effectively communicate with guests. If I am forced to interact with her in the future, I will be taking my business elsewhere. It is disappointing, but I have reached my limit with the poor service.
Both of us have been to this Chinese takeout restaurant a few times over the years and we can honestly say that if you like your curries with a bit of extra kick, this is the place to go when in the area.
This was the worst experience ever. After multiple attempts to reach them by phone, we finally placed our order. The order arrived two hours later with no honey on the chicken, which was incredibly dry. When we called to request the missing honey, the person on the other end (Brian) responded rudely, asking "what do you want me to do?" The customer service was terrible, and the attitude on the phone was not pleasant. If you are going to work in a customer-facing role, you need to respect your customers. Eventually, they agreed to deliver the honey sauce, but when it arrived, it was the smallest amount I have ever seen. Are they joking? I will never order from this restaurant again after spending £40 and being treated this way.
Good traditional Chinese take away fare. You maybe have to wait a bit for your order to be cooked, but it’s worth the effort; or you can arrange delivery for a small fee.
