Adega Da Praia - Figueira da Foz

We went there for dinner. The place looks ok but don’t be fooled. We sat down and the waiter came to ask what we wanted. I said we never got a menu and he replied that the menu is listed outside. He didn’t have one to give us. Eventually he told us the specials. We ordered two orders of chicken, one of calamari and bife a casa. The chicken he only brought one order and we had to wait for the second one and the fries were cold on both orders. Calamari was ok and my beef wasn’t beef. It was pork and the sauce was sour. We had nothing extra so we only paid $30 euro but still. I still found it expensive.

Nothing else we could ask about a true Portuguese restaurant, amazing food, great staff, nice, clean and large restaurant.

I was there in June 2013 the restaurant is located right off the main road Avenida 25 de Abril and the once you get to Rua dos Pescadores its right there. The outside doesn 't look like much but its clean very old European anterior which was very appealing. The dining room is very large and the staff is very friendly helpful. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Its a family owned business and has been around forever. Food was excellent! We usually have lunch there. The lunch specials are usually start at about € 5. The price is awesome for the amount of food you get. I usually have Carne Porco Alentejana and I think I paid around € 6. This place is one of the best kept secrets in Figueira. Great value and really tasty food. I would recommend visiting this restaurant anytime.

Boa comida, lugar acolhedor familiar e quentinho. Recomendo

Maminha muito tenra. Tudo bem confeccionado. O pessoal é atencioso, mas não atento. Ou seja, deixa os clientes muito tempo à espera. Um dos empregados que veio servir estava visivelmente embriagado, é uma pena.
