M.E. einer der besten Biergärten in Filderstadt. Besonders toll für Familien mit Kindern, da der dazugehörige Spielplatz/Streichelzoo so angelegt ist, dass kein Kind auf die Straße laufen kann, ohne an den Erwachsenen vorbei zu müssen.Bedienung immer freundlich und auf Zak, Preis/Leistungsverhältnis auch super.Wir wohnen gleich um die Ecke und sind öfter dort und bisher NIE auch nur ansatzweise enttäuscht gewesen.

Ambiente schön jedoch überteuert, man fühlt sich als Gast über den Tisch gezogen. Eine normale Familie kann sich das dort nicht leisten. Der Chef ist sehr arrogant, wir haben mitbekommen wie er neben uns zwei Gäste angeschrien hat und das nur wegen den Kindern. Ich hab dann mit denen dann gesprochen, die haben mir erzählt das die 65 € heute dort ausgegeben haben und dann vom Chef angeschrien wurden bzw gedroht! Mein Gott das sind doch noch kleinkinder wie herzlos kann an als Wirt sein! Geld verändert Menschen, was sehr traurig ist, leider. Ich werde dort kein Fuss mehr rein setzten und der Nachbartisch auch nicht die waren so entsetzt für so ein benehmen!

I took my family to this beer garden on Sunday the 6th of August. The food we had was well below average and certainly not worth the money they charge for it, the schnitzel I had was not freshly made and it certainly isn't home made, from a packet straight out of a supermarket. Everything is saturated in salt to the point where you can't even enjoy the chips and they don't even have mayonnaise for the chips. I guess the plan is cover everything in salt to make you drink more.my wife had a turkey steak which again was well below average quality meat, again covered in salt to disguise the poor quality. The beer garden itself sits in a nice location but the quality of the tables and chairs is shocking, very old and tatty and certainly in need of changing, every table has big black numbers very scruffily written on them like an old cheap cafe, the owner obviously has no class in that area. We did see the owner who very arrogantly struts around the beer garden. We even witnessed him approach a couple enjoying their food and drinks and he very angrily approached them with a big red head and started shouting at them as a table had complained their kids were being naughty as they were knocking apples off one of the apple trees. This was very unfair from the owner as the kids were only small and doing nothing wrong, the couple were gobsmacked and rightly so. I felt for this couple and if only the owner could see how pathetic and unprofessional he looked by doing this. Certainly not something you want to witness, my son even asked why is that man so red and angry. After he'd finished having his tantrum he went and sat back with his friends by the entrance to the restaurant and carried on drinking. I certainly wouldn't rush back here and if I did visit again I certainly wouldn't eat there. The lady who served us was very friendly, but this didn't make up for a bad overpriced meal. If you read a lot of reviews in German a lot of people have commented on the overpriced poor quality food and bad attitude of the owner.

Besides the consistently beautiful ambiente to sit (obstbaumwiese), however, on a simple garden seating, nothing remembers a typical beer garden, especially with regard to the meanwhile big-city restaurant prices of eating and drinking.Des swaben loves eating - roast roast with late zle - for just under 25 € is already very three times in this environment; change in the case of an industrially scaled carving is only possible against price; drinkable open wein (1/4l) is only available from €6; in the lunch table, eating is only available with obligatory drink.It seems a change of the barbell wanted, which has to do with the proximity of the fair, and you peppt the beer garden inexpensively for restaurant. after visiting satisfactorily for several years, this address is no longer recommended.

THIS is where the locals go and is one of my favorite 'go to' restaurants when family and friends are in town. The food is traditional and delicious and made with the freshest ingredients. The servings are enormous. The service is great. Many of the servers speak good English. Inside is 'gemütlich '. The outside is packed when the weather is nice. Great area for the kids to play outside while you're enjoying your friends. Great views. We have come for the goose at Christmas time, for 'Spargel ' (asparagus) season, and many times in between. Also have given gift certificates so others can come and enjoy. Highly recommended!!!
