The dining experience was absolutely lovely, the staff were very polite and accommodating, and even our dog enjoyed it as well.

This small campsite is perfect, with clean showers and toilets. Despite the negative reviews about the food, we were pleasantly surprised! There is a £5 discount per night for dining or drinks, making the £20 per night camping fee well worth it. We will definitely be returning in the near future as we were extremely satisfied with everything. The staff were very friendly and even delivered food to our tent! We all agree that this place deserves a 10/10 rating. We hope the new owners maintain it as a beautiful destination. Don't let the negative reviews deter you from giving this place a chance - it is very child and dog-friendly.

The staff at the restaurant were friendly, however, the food was terrible. My partner's lasagne looked unappetizing and old. It seemed like most of the dishes were reheated in the microwave. The only fresh thing in the restaurant was the morning newspaper.

Inspired by the website menu I decided to go here for a meal. Surroundings very run down, small caravan park behind pub looking rather derelict. Food? Didn't get any, though it was supposed to be open it was all locked up.

The mashed potatoes were lumpy, the vegetables lacked taste, and the gravy was thin. The carvery was terrible. The restaurant appeared run down and uninviting. I will not be coming back.
