Eating was decent enough, a steak and chips, on the small size in view of the price, but not exaggerated or inappropriate. the ambiente is terrible. it is exactly what I imagined would look in a pub directly from pirates of carribean, how, illuminated, rustic furniture, extremely loud and impossible to conversate about the cacophony of the arm.

Yes. I feel dirty after I eat here. we made a booking for 16 people before over 2 weeks, arrived tonight and they had not even set up our tables. we had to help. eating was rough and the staff was rude. do not go if they have dietary requirements, they will feel as annoying.

Early pre-concert dinner was why we went to the council and papageien. Eight of us dive. service was great. that was not eating. 2 had carved a parmy the other kilpatrick. everything in order, but not great. papageienburger and turmburger also described as okay. looks great, but average in taste. my partner and I ordered the lamb shafts. she sounded wonderful, 2 shafts, served with yorkshire puddings, silky maic, pees and much gravy. what appeared before us was tepid buzzed, on lumpy maic, no pees with a sauce that was like a bottle dolmio. the yorkshire pudding was cold, dry and open out of place. we answered why we were not what was on the menu. the chefs said...read more

The rat and papageian part, which was a catastrophe, a quick dinner. they forgot our meal, apologise, when we wanted to forget it again, but other meals came out, cracked it a demanded money back and left

Definitely improving... Hop.... Definitely improving... Hopefully they can hold down a decent chef for a while and the Findon may one day be a good local pub. Reduce the menu concentrate on doing a few things well instead of 100 items average to poor. Wine list is atrocious! Come on, not everyone wants to drink $5 vinegar. A few drinkable options requires ASAP!
